Barbara remains committed to the science of education. She has taught third-year college students as well as public school grade levels K-12. She has achieved teaching success in urban school districts in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania), Trenton and Orange (New Jersey), and Wilmington and Newark (Delaware).
She has exceptional ability to motivate students and has enjoyed many years of success helping students of varying abilities to achieve learning benchmarks and academic goals.
Barbara has enjoyed facilitating new teacher training seminars and professional development workshops for in-service teachers. She has also been recognized by students and fellow educators alike as an exceptional educator including her nomination as outstanding “Teacher of the Year” in Newark, Delaware.
Barbara holds a B.S. in Education and an M.Ed. from Temple University in Philadelphia, and she has earned professional teaching credentials from the State Departments of Education in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey.
